Sandy, UT – The team at Fishwest is excited to announce that we will be opening a new location starting in July of 2020.
Since 2008 we have been bringing “All Things Fly Fishing” to our loyal customers. We have appreciated the love and support from all of you over the years. Sadly, our time in Sandy has come to a close. However, do not worry, we are not going away for good. We are just moving!
The brand new Fishwest flagship store will be located at the “gateway of the Uinta Mountains” at 138 West 280 South in Kamas Utah. This new location represents a big shift for the staff of Fishwest as we transform from an Urban fly shop to one at the doorstep of one of the most popular national forests in the state. Fishwest is committed to bringing all its visitors the same passion, knowledge, professionalism, and friendly customer service that has brought us to where we are today. Along with the new retail space we are also pleased to announce that starting fall 2020 we will be offering guide trips to various locations around the state of Utah.
Along with our new flagship location, we are excited to announce a seasonal location in the heart of Downtown Park City at 540 Main Street that will be opened from May to October. Like our flagship store, this full service fly shop will offer the industries top brands, a great fly selection, and the fishiest, most knowledgeable staff in town. To top it all off, it is surrounded by some of the most productive Utah waters and you can be on the water within 15 minutes of the front door of the shop. Our Main Street location will begin operation in the summer of 2021.

Fishwest Fly Shop opened its doors in Sandy Utah, circa 2008 and we’ve been serving local anglers and visitors to Utah ever since. The fly shop is a full-service fly fishing outfitter offering flies, apparel, and other fly fishing essentials as well as a multitude of educational resources such as classes and other events. The shop staff has the knowledge and experience to point local and traveling anglers in the right direction for a successful day on the water.
