Fishwest Kamas Grand Opening: This Wednesday July 1st, 2020

Kamas, UT – After weeks of hard work the Fishwest Team is excited to officially announce the opening of our new retail store in Kamas Utah.

The brand new Fishwest flagship store will be located at the “gateway of the Uinta Mountains” at 138 West 280 South in Kamas Utah. This new location represents a big shift for the staff of Fishwest as we transform from an Urban fly shop to one at the doorstep of one of the most popular national forests in the state. Fishwest is committed to bringing all its visitors the same passion, knowledge, professionalism, and friendly customer service that has brought us to where we are today. Along with the new retail space we are also pleased to announce that starting fall 2020 we will be offering guide trips to various locations around the state of Utah.

Our new retail store in Kamas, Utah will be open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM bringing you the same level of service, knowledge, and passion that you have come to expect from our staff over the years. Our footprint and inventory has grown drastically from our humble beginnings in Sandy and we are ecstatic for what the future holds in Kamas.

I grew up in the shadow of some of the most heralded ski slopes in the western United States. Instead of skiing or snowboarding I took up fly fishing at a young age. Through high school & my early college years I was fortunate enough to represent my country playing Sled Hockey. I started at Fishwest as a member of the web team and now I oversee and manage almost every aspect of the Fishwest e-commerce platform. I also act as the main point of contact for all of the Fishwest hosted travel trips.
