Dustin Carlson to Lead Utah’s Blue Ribbon Fisheries Advisory Council  
Fishwest Founder accepts BRFAC Chairman Role

Sandy, UT: Dustin Carlson, who founded Fishwest ( in 1999, has accepted the nomination as Chairman to the Utah Blue Ribbon Fisheries Advisory Council (BRFAC). The BRFAC is tasked with identifying and designating Blue Ribbon fisheries throughout the state of Utah, as well as enhancing the aquatic habitat and recreation setting of these waters.

About Dustin Carlson: Dustin Carlson is a lifelong angler who channels his passion for the sport into all aspects of his life. He graduated from the University of Utah, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA). Dustin has been serving as the Northern Region Representative on the BRFAC for the past three years. He lives in Draper, Utah with his wife, two sons and dog.
